Requirements
- Apply and get approval before removing any lawn.
- Replace existing irrigated lawn with low-water-use plants, mulch, artificial turf, or pervious hardscape.

- Apply on Scotts Valley Water District’s site and wait for approval. Lawn removed before approval usually does not qualify.
- Remove the lawn and plant to the requirements above.
- Send what the program page asks for once the work is done.
