Requirements
- Apply and get approval before removing any lawn.
- For an active BBLDWP account in its service area. The turf must still be in place, alive and currently watered; lawn already removed doesn't qualify.
- Email conservation@bbldwp.com or call (909) 866-5050 first. Staff visit to confirm the lawn qualifies and measure it, and quote the rebate from that measurement.
- Remove the lawn, tell Conservation, and staff return to check the same area was removed; the agreed amount is then credited on your BBLDWP bill.

- Apply on Big Bear Lake Department of Water and Power’s site and wait for approval. Lawn removed before approval usually does not qualify.
- Remove the lawn and plant to the requirements above.
- Send what the program page asks for once the work is done.
